Visitors Don't Just Wander In

Why You Need This

When people end up on your website, it's because they're looking for something. And if they don't see something relevant within 2-3 seconds, they're going to leave. And if they see obviously old content (hello last blog post from 2020) they're likely not going to come back.

So what happens if you're using the same web copy and dated layout from 10 or 15 years ago (honestly let's even say 5)? Not only is your website not going to rank as well when compared to other websites with "fresher" content, but your visitors are going to feel like what you have to offer isn't a good match, or they'll question your ability to help them.

Have you changed or upgraded your core services or business model, but don't have time to make the needed edits? Or maybe you just don't have the ability to hire a dedicated staff member to stay on top of all of it, and you don't really need someone to play with your website in office 40 hours a week.

How Much Will I Spend?

Content creation is always tricky because it covers such a large scope of options. Writing content for a blog is different than writing content for a service page (that’s what this page is), and both of those things are different than writing a series of emails for a newsletter or social media posts. After we talk about what you are trying to do and where you are currently, we will give you some suggestions on things that may work.

Blog Posts and Content Creation

One of the best ways to encourage visitor traffic and engagement is to continually add new content to your website.

You can do this through a blog with articles, news, tutorials, etc., or by trying to increase your Social  Media presence with relevant posts that link back to your website, or stand on their own. If you run an online store, it’s worth it to spend time optimizing your product listings to include custom images, keywords and descriptive content.

When you have helpful, relevant information to provide, most search engines favor those pages and show them more often.

  • Blog articles start at $225 for a single post and go up
  • New pages start at $125 for a standard page and go up
  • Page optimization or rewrites start at $100 per page
  • Product descriptions start between $50 and $150
  • Social media (FB, IG, GBP) posts start at $300/month for 10 posts on 1 account*
  • *Does not include account management or post responses

  • Is there a long-term contract?

Everything we do as a service is month-to-month. However, if you are trying to increase visibility and visitor traffic, a month or two really isn’t going to cut it if you are serious about making any difference.

  • Why do I need to update my content?

Search engines reward websites that continue to put out fresh and engaging content for visitors. On top of that, the rules are continually changing and staying on top of those changes is one of the best things you can do.

  • What kind of content can you create?

We can create most anything that you need, within reason. Social media posts, blog articles (always with approval), and site page updates are just some of the things you can have us help you with.

  • Will I get more website visitors?

While the answer is always “depends”, we can safely say that as long as you are actively engaged in reaching out to your audience through content updates and site optimizations, you will typically see growth over time.

  • How often should I update my content?

A safe base is twice a month, but that would be the very minimum. Ideally you should be interacting on Social Media a couple times a week, as well as updating content based on visitor traffic, and writing blog articles. Luckily these are all things we can do so you don’t have to.

  • Are you offering SEO?

While some of these services can be classified as SEO services, we don’t currently offer a “traditional” SEO strategy plan. We may in the future.

  • How long will it take to see results?

This is another answer that “depends”. It depends on how active you are as a participant, and how much you are willing to invest for content optimizations and creation. Realistically you shouldn’t expect to see anything for at least 4-6 months though, as it takes time for search engines to figure out what you are doing and there’s no way to rush them.
